About ShamashHub
The shamash is the one who quietly keeps a shul running — the lights, the seforim, the schedule, the hundred small things nobody notices until they're missing. ShamashHub is that shamash for the office: one platform that handles the daily operational work of running a shul, so the people running it can spend their time on the community instead of the paperwork.
Why we built it
Most shuls run on a patchwork — a spreadsheet for pledges, a paper map for seats, and a shoebox of receipts. The tools that do exist are either built for churches and nonprofits that work differently, or they're decades old. We built ShamashHub from the ground up around how a shul actually works: Yiddish names and the Jewish calendar, aliyos and yahrzeits, seasons and sponsorships, gabbaim and fundraisers.
One platform, pick your apps
Every shul is different, so ShamashHub is modular — subscribe to what you need, add more when you're ready. Everything shares one member database and one login. Pledges & Donations and Seating & Lockers are available today, with more on the way.
Pledges & Donations
Campaigns, aliyos, yahrzeits, sponsorships, payment plans, statements, and fundraisers — the full financial heartbeat of the shul.
Seating & Lockers
Draw the shul map once, then sell and assign seats season after season — with a POS-style register.
Built with care
ShamashHub is built by SoftSpot Tech. We work closely with the shuls that use the platform — most features exist because a gabbai, treasurer, or office manager asked for them. If something in your shul's workflow doesn't fit, we want to hear about it.
