Terms of Service

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between SoftSpot Tech ("ShamashHub", "we") and the organization that opens an account ("you"). By creating an account or using the platform you accept them on your organization's behalf.

The service

ShamashHub provides shul management software as a subscription, organized into modules you can add or remove. We may improve or change features over time; if we ever discontinue a module you pay for, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

Your account and your data

• You're responsible for your users' accounts and for keeping credentials secure.
• The data you enter belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service.
• You're responsible for having the right to store the member information you enter.
• You may export your data at any time; we'll assist on request.

Billing

Subscriptions bill monthly per module through Stripe. You can add, remove, or cancel modules at any time; changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Donor payments processed through your own payment processor are governed by your agreement with that processor — those funds never pass through us.

Acceptable use

Don't use the platform to send spam, store unlawful content, attempt to breach other tenants' data, or resell the service. We may suspend accounts that put the platform or other customers at risk, and we'll tell you if we do.

Availability and support

We work to keep the platform available around the clock, with maintenance scheduled to avoid Shabbos and Yom Tov peaks where possible. Support is provided by email from your dashboard.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss caused by third-party services you connect.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time from your billing page. After cancellation your account becomes read-only for 30 days for export, and data is then deleted per our privacy policy.

Changes and contact

If we make material changes to these terms we'll notify account administrators by email at least 30 days in advance. Questions: contact us.
